Temple of Sonabariya

Sonabaria, a locality on the border of Kalaroa upazila. Two hundred years ago, the entire zamindar rule of Sonrabariyas was spreading. Such is the ancient temple trader, Sonabariya Math temple. The Shyamsundar temple, which is about 60 feet high, is still standing as a symbol of ancient architecture. If this temple is not reformed right now, then its ruined parts will disappear. According to various sources, Rani Rashmoni established this temple of the Math in 1208. There is also a lot of references to the history of the math temple. On the banks of the Belagacha of Sonabari, a lot of Shiva statues are blown out of the night. Rani Rashmoni dreamed of bathing the statue of Shiva at the time of bath and built this temple of math. This magnificent temple is made of small slim bricks and terracotta plaques. Its all over there are beautiful artworks. Located on 15 acres of land surrounded by mango, kathal, coconut, mahogany, teak and fir tree, the temple is 20 feet long and 15 feet wide. A large pond in front of the temple.
