Circuit House

In 1793, the Board of Revenue was dissolved and an appeal against 4 decision of the Court of Circuit collector was established. In 1829, the Court of Circuit was changed to the Divisional Commissioner's office and till 1831, he made a civil criminal and revision appeal appeal. Since 1997, the Divisional Commissioner, who was in the district to look after the Revenue related work, was called Circuit House. The Circuit House is currently used as a residence during the visit of the visiting state guest, VVIP and VIP officials on the district tour. Responsible for the control of the circuit house, deputy commissioner. Protocol Nazir worked as a caretaker of the Circuit House.

 Those who are assigned the room of the circuit house:

            The government, semi-official, autonomous agency has been allocated rooms on the basis of Warrant of Precedence. Besides, the minister / state minister / deputy minister / chief whip / parliament members of the Jatiya Sangsad, all the VIP guests in the zilla, stay at the circuit house. Retired officers have the provision of allocation of the circuit house to their personal travels.

            Satkhira Circuit House was inaugurated on 02/03/1397 AD 06/07/1990 AD. Honorable Minister for Women Affairs Syeda Razia Faiz has inaugurated it.

            In the year 2012-2013, the two-wheeler circuit building was expanded on the third floor. In the extended area, 1 dining room with four sleeping rooms controlled by Kobadak, Ichamati, Malancha and Betnna has been constructed. There are 6 beds in these 4 bedrooms.
