Officers Club, Satkhira

The world's largest mangrove forest is located in the south-western district of Satkhira. After the district of Satkhira in 1984, there was no sports culture and entertainment organization for officers in the district headquarters. In 1985, the then Deputy Commissioner, Md. Aminur Rahman, took the initiative to form a club for the officers, and in 1987 it became a reality. After the historical work of the current District Officers Club Satkhira.

 

 In order to exchange mutual goodwill among the officers, to build sympathy and create harmonious relations, this club is established to entertain healthy sports and culture activities and for the overall welfare of the members. Currently, 78 members of the club are working together in front of this goal.

 

Currently the club is located in the famous old jail of Satkhira (located at the SP Office). After completing the work of Tiles in the club with the help of different levels, the beauty of the club has increased. The club is going to meet their demands and meeting to organize various organizations of Satkhira. The club is organizing every year regularly celebrating Bangla New Year, celebrating various seasons, celebrating the day as well as members, family members and children and organizing sports cultural competition and entertaining club nights. At present, the club is playing a unique role in generating the matches between the district headquarters officers.
